Louise M. Corrigan & Associates has formed a strategic partnership with a New York law firm, which advises on corporate law, dispute resolution, regulation and compliance and immigration. Principal, Louise Corrigan, advises on all aspects of U.S and Irish visa and Immigration law, providing a long-term, tailored approach specific to the individual client’s needs on both sides of the Atlantic.

Louise Corrigan, a graduate of University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies (BBLS), is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland, the US District Court and the New York State Bar.

She practiced as a litigator and immigration specialist in New York City before returning to Ireland to continue her immigration practice in Dublin. She is an active member of the Rome District Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Areas of specialization include: consular processing, criminal immigration issues, intern and trainee visas, H1B visas, entertainment and performer visas, Irish work permits, visas and citizenship.

During her time in New York, Louise was an active member of the Irish community. She was awarded a Top 40 Under 40 Award by the Irish Echo in 2014 and the Irish Voice Most Influential Women Award 2011. Louise was also a Young Patron and 2014 Honoree of the Irish Arts Center in New York, where she performed with one of their resident Irish dance companies.

She is also a former Chair (2013-2014) of the Irish Network-NYC (IN-NYC), the first and largest chapter of Irish Network-USA (IN-USA) and having spearheaded the establishment of the first non-US based chapter affiliated with IN-USA, is now acting Chairperson of Irish Network-Dublin (IN-Dublin), recently launched by Minister for Diaspora Affiars, Jimmy Deenihan T.D. In this capacity, she works to facilitate business and networking opportunities and relationships, both business and cultural, between Ireland and the US.
